Effective the week of April 25 2016, www.economy.com is the new home of Dismal Scientist, Moody’s Analytics global macroeconomic research subscription service. The service provides coverage of more than 300 economic indicators for 50+ countries, as well as daily commentary and regular in-depth analysis on events, outlooks, trends, risks and opportunities. Economy.com helps subscribers make more informed business decisions and enhance strategic planning.
The subscription service is offered alongside the other economic data, forecasts, scenarios and research products provided by Moody’s Analytics at www.economy.com.
All other Moody’s Analytics subscriptions available through www.economy.com (such as the Data Buffet and Précis reports) can be accessed through the “My Subscriptions” page via the user profile link at the top right of the website. This replaces the “My Economy” link previously found on the site. All bookmarked urls will be unaffected.
No, the global macroeconomic information service requires a separate subscription. If you already subscribe to Dismal Scientist then no changes are required and access is enabled. If you are a Moody’s Analytics client and would like to add this service to your subscription, please contact your account manager or request more information through our helpdesk. If you would like to trial or purchase this service as an individual you can sign up at our registration page.
The layout and content of the subscription service formerly known as Dismal Scientist remains unchanged. All existing Dismal Scientist urls and bookmarks will automatically point to the appropriate locations.
